Me, happy!!!

I had such beautiful surprises these days from my dear blogger friends! I received two awards! It was a big surprise for me and I received them with a lot of emotion! Mean a lot to me to know that what I fold or roll from paper brings special feelings in the souls of those who visit my blog and that they like what they see here!

One of the rules for these awards is to say something about yourself. But I will change it a little and I will tell you how my blogger journey started :)

Because I like a lot to read I thought that would be a good idea to have a blog where to write a few words about the books I read and especially about those I loved reading. In the same time a quote from one of them or a poem. So this was the start!

But I loved origami models as well, though never had the courrage to try to fold one. Until the fall of 2009  when I discovered the Romanian Origami Forum with so nice people, so willing to help, to give advises. Since then all my spare time, when I wasn't reading :), I spent folding paper. 

In January this year I wanted a special gift for my mother and my cousin Alina proposed me a quilled daisy. It turned out so beautiful that I thought "Why not try more quilled models?" In this way I entered another beautiful art of using paper, quilling!

I want to say that I am very happy that I started to post my models on the blog, to share with others! In this way I became part of another magic world. This time not through the printed words, but using the hands and paper. I had the occasion to find so amazing projects and so beautiful souls all over the world!
