Butterfly, quilling and stitching

This is one of the other cards I made last week. I like a lot the new border I used for it! The pattern is from PinBroidery. Hope you like it, too :)

I entered this card to the following challenges:

Scrapper in Romania: Alb+Negru+un strop de turcoaz

Hooked on Craft Challenges: Things with wings!

Make It Monday #52: Anything goes

Happy Birthday!

Today is my dear husband's birthday, so besides a delicious chocolate cake I made a card for him, too. One cup for him, one cup for me, he loves coffee, I love tea :) But important is that we love each other!

Stitching is my new passion :) Since I saw Helen's cards I wished to combine quilling with stitching! And finally I made it! The sentiment is from Pinbroidery and the inspiration for the cups came from Cheryl. For beautiful stitching models you should visit Helen's blog.

Thank you all for the inspiration, for visits and lovely comments! They mean a lot for me! I missed you all!

I made two more cards and a picture which hopefully will get framed sometimes in the near future:) I used the stitching technique for those, too. But I save them for next week:)

Mini photo album

Hi dear blogger friends! It was a long break from blogging, I know. Part of it was because I had a very busy July and part because I started reading "A Song of Ice and Fire" by George R.R. Martin, a very good book, hard to let it from hand :) So less time for paper and blogging! But I had a glimpse at all of your paper beauties and hopefully starting next week I will be back with my daily visits.

And now that I'm back let me present you some new paper work I made!

Today I would like to show you a mini photo album, a gift for my dear friends daughter, a very, very sweet little girl, who celebrated her 8th birthday this week.

The pictures are not so good because first I assembled  the album and after that I took the pictures. Not a good idea, I can tell you :) And if you would like to make a photo album with quilled embellishment on each page, the accordion type is more suitable!

I'll be back soon with more paper work! I tried something new for me, hope you will like it!

I enter this album to Take a Quill Pill  challenge for August.

Wish you all an amazing weekend!

Bookmarks and flowers

I am very happy! The card I made for  the 10th challenge on Take a Quill Pill is the winner of the month, together with Nimisha's card! It was a great surprise for me! You should check the new challenge, it's a very good one. For me will be for sure a challenge :) And the Design Team made great projects for inspiration!

This weekend I planned to make a few cards, but finally I ended up making bookmarks for my dear ones :) I used for inspiration Lin's bookmarks.

And I wanted to show you a beautiful cactus about a few weeks ago, but I forgot about it. Ooops :) A few details about this kind of cactus you can find on Ileana's blog.

And a Pelargonium Peltatum.

Wish you all a wonderful and very creative week!

Fluturi
